Privacy Policy

How BibleFocus handles your data

This Privacy Policy explains how BibleFocus, operated by Cracked Labs, LLC, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BibleFocus mobile application (the “App”) and the BibleFocus website at trybiblefocus.com (the “Site”). By using BibleFocus, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

When you use BibleFocus, we collect information you provide and information generated by your use of the App. This may include your name, email address, age range, gender, faith level, the spiritual habits you choose, your daily time commitment, and other onboarding answers. When you sign in with Apple, Google, email, or anonymously, we receive a Firebase authentication identifier that we use to keep your account separate from others. We also store an internal device identifier and, if you enable notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging push token. We log usage events such as habits completed, coins earned and spent, Bible reading streaks, church check-ins, prayer sessions, and your subscription state.

Permissions and On-Device Data

BibleFocus asks for several permissions, and only when the related feature is used. Camera access is used to verify your daily Bible verse scan. Location access (when in use, and optionally always) is used to confirm you are at a church you have saved so we can award your daily coins. Screen Time and Family Controls are used to block the apps and websites you choose to limit; the categories and apps you select are managed on your device through Apple’s ManagedSettings framework and are not shared with us in identifiable form. You can change or revoke any of these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve BibleFocus, personalize your habits and coin economy, deliver push notifications you have opted into, process subscriptions and unlock premium features, and respond to your support messages.

Service Providers

BibleFocus relies on a small set of trusted service providers. Firebase (Google) provides authentication, the database that stores your profile and progress, push notifications, and crash diagnostics. Mixpanel records anonymized product analytics events that help us understand how the App is used. Superwall manages our subscription paywall and reports purchase outcomes back to us. Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In handle authentication when you choose those options. Each of these providers receives only the information needed to perform its service and is bound by its own privacy policy.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Manage Account inside the App, which removes your profile and associated data from our systems. If you would like assistance with deletion or a copy of your data, email us at team@trybiblefocus.com.

Children

BibleFocus is intended for users 13 and older. We collect an age range during onboarding and the App is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, please contact team@trybiblefocus.com so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of April 29, 2026. We may update this policy from time to time, and any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
